When Grazyna, who I had worked with before, contacted me about doing a fun shoot for the extended family I was very excited. She had decided to give the entire family the gift of this shoot, and what a gift it was! It was an incredibly fun afternoon with this tightly knit group of people. We met at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens, and I was given strict instructions .... NO waterfall pics! I do love the waterfall, but they have so many of it already, and wanted something a little different. The gardens have so much to offer so we were not limited by this request, and found a lovely area with beautful light and loads of space for this crazy bunch. What I loved most about photographing this family, is they are so comfortable with each other, there are so many fun images mixed up in the slightly more formal. It was a totally fabulous afternoon, from the piggy backs, to the funny faces, I am not sure I have laughed so much at a family shoot before!
