Our fun outing at Conkasha Labradors

My Mom has always worked with animals from a small child and now runs a successful dog training school and puppy day care (Bracken Puppy Daycare) with my dad.  While growing up, I was always exposed to dogs, horses and other people who share this love of animals.

So it was a very pleasant surprise to be contacted by Sharron, a Labrador breeder who I grew up with, last year and be asked to photograph the latest edition to her Labrador Breeding Kennel (Conkasha Labradors).   Balrion Weathertop The Pretender a.k.a          "Prince" is a stunning highly pedigreed male chocolate labrador who arrived from Wales on the 12/12/12.

They say there is nothing more difficult than working with pets or children, and although it was a bit difficult getting the dogs to cooperate with us to get the correct "pose", I had an absolute ball!  With many licks and wet noses all over Sharron, myself and the lens, we got some amazing images of these stunning dogs. 

After the shoot, I got to see the latest litters that had just been born and I could have easily walked out with a few of my own!  It was an incredibly fun afternoon and I left very tired, very dirty and completely in love with the Labs!
